Hey there! We are thrilled you stopped in to find out a little bit about us & our sweet family! My name is Alysha and my husband is Leo. We have been together 17 years (high school sweethearts) and married for 13 years. Love is in our name so we knew it had to part of our business which is where Photography D’Amour was built from. I started shooting in 2017 just wanting photos of our newborn daughter when I found myself getting requests from friends and family to take their photos and it kinda snowballed from there. In 2019 we started shooting weddings which grew bigger than I could have imagined. So in 2021 Leo stepped up joining me in shooting weddings and who knew, he has such a natural talent for photography! We have been able to travel to different states & countries together capturing the happiest moments in people's live & I don’t think it gets much better than that. This has became a family business in the most unexpected way. We have three small kids and couldn’t be more proud to be their parents. They are the absolute center of everything we do. A lot of you followed our journey through years of foster care and finalized adoptions which we couldn’t be more proud of. If you have known us for a while, thanks for stopping in! I’m Alysha and I am a boho, tattoo loving, true crime obsessed momma. Capturing love and spreading it is my jam!!! My virgo sign requires perfection which plays a big part in our business and is both a blessing and curse. I am a complete and total optimist to a fault. I think there is beauty in everything if you can look hard enough. I enjoy spending time with our 3 babies and my hubby more than anything. This time with the kids this little everything. I feel so fortunate that my job allows me to be available to them in the way I am. I am one of our two photographers and the sole editor of images, putting all of the magical moody touches to each of our final galleries. I have loved meeting so many of you and the relationships we develop mean so much to me! Even if we haven’t shot together, I have loved meeting so many of you around town! I realized in my recent down time that if my creative energy isn’t being channeled into photography it goes into the design of our home, projects with the kids and painting. I’m always just craving that creative space which i’m finding is my happy place.
